He could make his own shampoo. That's always an option.

It's cute that you think you're gonna change the world by changing your brand of shampoo. I get the sentiment, but, I think it's gonna take a little bit more than that. Call me crazy, but, I don't think the world quite works like that.

taKe

That's exactly how it works. If you don't like some company, then you don't buy their products

NotAnUndercoverCop

If you could get a billion people to to never purchase a single product you'd have an effect, yes. But, some guy changing his brand of shampoo will not change the world. Sorry to have to be the one to burst that bubble for you.

Yeah, with that attitude we'd all be speaking German.

taKe

Don't be sorry.

Only about 40 people marched in Dublin. Given our equal marraige rights victory the day before, I don't think many were in the mood to protest.

Oh please. The media is covering it. The author is not really paying attention. All i had to do is a simple google search and there are many results. Here's the first on: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/afp/article-3094414/Thousands-worldwide-march-against-Monsanto-GM-crops.html

X2mokupunimoonpurr

The only station reporting on it was RT. Other than that, YouTube videos uploaded was all I could find.

Hawaii had some amazing and large gatherings. One on Maui where Neil Young and Daryl Hannah came to assist in planting 2 acres of Organics in protest. Afterwards Neil held a concert to play his newest music about Monsanto. No media coverage of that locally.

I guess I am not all that surprised that Big Media isn't saying much about it. I can't imagine these massive companies that deliver things like cable news aren't in some way associated with a company that has its tentacles dug so far into every aspect of United States business. Even if they weren't directly associated, it takes serious balls for a company to publicly, on air, bash (or even show that others are bashing) someone with so much lobbying power.

Exactly, the whole idea of something becoming mainstream is because someone wanted and allowed it to become so. Some evil people turning the Age of Information into the Age of Selective Information.
