If they actually implemented it properly and didn't use it as a way to push out poorer voters, I'd be all for that.

Part of American nationalism is the idea that everywhere other than the USA is laughably backwards, and that we have the best of everything.

Showing any other country's election process as positive would undermine this idea, especially someplace in South America which has historically been the USA's domain.
