Moral compass or not, I am not a believer in 'too big to fail' unless we are talking about God (l'atheists pls don't downvote). I feel like a lot of Google's power is perceived and they are being propped up in many ways: they barely pay taxes, they are subsidized in some cases, and there is an unreasonable amount of confidence in the company overall. A lot of their ability to generate mega-colossal returns relies on the assumption that people will keep using their services. My point is, all it takes is for that public confidence to be lost, and Google will fall.

If Startpage or Duckduckgo isn't your default search engine yet, well, all I can say is better late than never. (Do it now; it takes like 30 seconds). Google is a disgusting corporation on so many levels, but I also think that all it really takes for them to start falling apart is for enough people to opt-out. I have faith that this will eventually happen but as I just said, better late than never.
