it really is terrifying to think of corporations wielding this sort of power. not to say that large, multinational companies don't have a lot of power now, which they certainly do. but this is an entirely different level. companies having the ability to sue other countries, allows them to act in a more preparatory nature. i think something like the IMF can be used as an example of the possible exploitation of smaller, less wealthier nations.

but the sad thing is, is that once happens, it will be too powerful to stop.
