What's really funny is that claim "Consensus: 97% of climate scientists agree " has been proven to be a fraud like the rest of the data they manipulate.

Global warming alarmists and their allies in the liberal media have been caught doctoring the results of a widely cited paper asserting there is a 97-percent scientific consensus regarding human-caused global warming. After taking a closer look at the paper, investigative journalists report the authors’ claims of a 97-pecent consensus relied on the authors misclassifying the papers of some of the world’s most prominent global warming skeptics. At the same time, the authors deliberately presented a meaningless survey question so they could twist the responses to fit their own preconceived global warming alarmism.

The question Cook and his alarmist colleagues surveyed was simply whether humans have caused some global warming. The question is meaningless regarding the global warming debate because most skeptics as well as most alarmists believe humans have caused some global warming.

To get to the truth, I emailed a sample of scientists whose papers were used in the study and asked them if the categorization by Cook et al. (2013) is an accurate representation of their paper. Their responses are eye opening and evidence that the Cook et al. (2013) team falsely classified scientists' papers as "endorsing AGW", apparently believing to know more about the papers than their authors.

He should have titled it "The Age of Misinformation" because that's what he's talking about.

people are too downvoat happy already. Anyway, there is a lot of disinformation, and most of it has the goal of keeping the common people fighting with themselves. it is almost like they got together and chose topics that didn't have anything to do with changing who was rich and who has power. "the weather", "race anything", "abortion", "religion", "gay rights", etc. Many times it isn't untrue, but the way it is said makes people emotional and no longer rational.

I don't think so. The people and the media have an agenda for spreading all this info. It's not accidental.

Edit: It's a little of both. The people posting pics of the clouds because they don't know what it is would be misinformation. But as far as climate change is concerned it's very much disinformation from the top down. And the hysteria is created by people who want to profit from it. The books, speeches and carbon tax credits is one big Enron style scandal.
