Having done explosive and demil work for several years, there are questions. However, it's no where near clear cut as your armchair analysis makes it.

Actually, yes. Pressure does very odd things in an explosion. After a blast pushes radiating pressure outwards, it creates a vacuum. If the victims absorbed the majority of the outward pressure, then feel, if the windows were cracked, it's possible, POSSIBLE, mind you, the glass would be sucked to the road.

With people stood around the banner any shrapnel would be absorbed by the people around it. You can tell this by the graphic nature of the blood spill. The key word is shrapnel.

TLDR: The bomb was in front of the crowd and the crowd took the hit.

Without any context, my guess is that the injured were cared for in a different location. That's why you don't see the damage to infrastructure in the pic. However, I am speculating just the same...
