Perhaps neither would a normal secret society priest or monk, I have no information. How are we to know? Are you sure they wouldn't? Perhaps you just weren't a good looking kid. But seriously, you may not know the extent of the Catholic Church youthful indiscretions (which is what I'd wager is your religion to be) they actively tried to cover up there issues and we still saw an unbelievable number of incidents. You can defend that bunch of innocence stealing, vile, peddlers of false hope (literally for cash). I see no difference between them and any other outfit that would allow those acts. They hid those individuals, condoned their acts and provided them safe harbor to go ahead and do it again. But worship with them and worship a god who'd let that occur if you want.
