Its possible he wasn't thinking clearly, or was trying to save people who might be heading in that direction. I'm not sure what orlando is like, but I've seem clubs that still have people rolling in around 2am, even if there isn't drink to be drank. Also possible he was trying to save face for his business.

The problem with this is that Orlando bars are required to have all alcohol out of the hands of guests at 2:00am.

Is there any indication what time the shooting started? Can anyone verify what time the facebook post was made? I know facebook uses the computer's on board clock to timestamp posts in their local timezone, so its possible the timestamp might be from the wrong timezone. I remember this time confusion being used as an argument for conspiracy during the boston bombings, and was later debunked. That wasn't good for the rest of the argument, even though it had substance. Might be good to fact check times first, before we get too entrenched.

The 2:00 am rule prevents the sale of alcohol past that hour. It doesn't mean you can't have the alcohol already purchased.

Thank you! I live in the city of the shooter and have inside Pulse (in a confidential capacity). I also listen to the police scanner and have made numerous other interesting observations about the way all of this has gone down. I don't have an opinion, other than I know that we are not getting the truth. I've heard the police trying to suppress things being said over the scanner.

And, whether it is Muslims or the government, I'm a bit paranoid, because I'm seeing brand new black Expeditions (with blackout tint) suddenly driving up and down my quiet street; and I'm a long way from where shooter lived. A little bit freaked out by that.

According to this he went in right as last call was being announced and I looked it up and last call in Florida is at 2am so I'm not sure where the conspiracy is supposed to be with that.

I've been in the bar business my whole career, and work directly in bars around the state. Orlando bars have been busted for letting people drink after hours. The ABT busted one by peeking through the door crack and seeing someone with a beer as they did their closeout.
