The gun license did serve at least one purpose though, it more or less proves that the house in the video was the shooter's. Without that one bit of evidence, I would have been pretty hesitant to post this at all.

Amendment to the title of this post: After consulting a spanish speaking friend of mine, it appears they are saying in the video that police had already conducted a search of some sort. It still seems likely that this was still a closed crime scene, but that remains to be seen.
