Seeing Facebook Weirdness ( conspiracy )

Noticed several summaries for links posted by friends/ family had slightly garbled titles. Some comments I made on posts got deleted (could have been the poster's actions as FB doesn't tell you) and one comment I posted was almost completely rewritten as if by machine translation. I watched it change "isn't" to "is not" right in front of my eyes as I posted.

Anyone else seeing this specific kind of weirdness?

False alarm, I think I had used a browser translation tool to read one of my German friend's posts and it mangled everything in English.

I believe there's some proverb about not disregarding a weapon simply because it's being used by the enemy.

There should be a proverb saying that using a weapon from your enemy that when you use it harms yourself more than your enemy, should not be used.
