My bill was over $200 8 years ago with TWC. So glad I now have FIOS to cut the bill in half.

I'm paying less than $50.00 for just internet/phone (terrible cell reception in my house and would rather be sure of a land-line just in case) and haven't been happier.

It took awhile to get the wife to go along with it - but you haven't experienced life without advertisements every 8 minutes until you just unplug that coax cable and leave all the television garbage behind. Anything worthwhile you can find on the internet if you look hard enough.

Regardless - I'm glad you're saving some cash.

All the best-

I unplugged 5+ years ago. About a month later, I suddenly realized how clear my thinking had become. I've been a news junkie all my life, and even though I knew that tv news would "spin" things, it wasn't until after I distanced myself over time that I began seeing just how they do it.

It's just like Sorcha Faal propaganda. They tell a big whopping lie (with no proof to back it up), then they surround it with little truths easily backed up with solid evidence. People buy into the smaller obviously true stories, and then they swallow the big lie, hook, line, and sinker.
