Yeah, the appointment of Fowler really devastated regulation and the FCC in general. I think it's a climate that still persists. In particular, I'm amazed at the apathy toward media conglomeration. Certainly I sometimes wonder if I've romanticized the past but I don't recall things being so systemically skewed.
