Monsanto eyes up corporate inversion in the UK with Syngenta to avoid paying US taxes. ( conspiracy )

submitted 2015-06-10T10:04 by Lightfromdarkness

US agricultural giant Monsanto’s current attempt to acquire Swiss chemical maker Syngenta and incorporate the combined company in the UK could see the company slash its tax bill by more than $500m (£326m). The deal would see the two become one and settle in the UK under a new name, paying taxes to the UK rather then the US, effectively cutting their tax bill in half due to the UK's lower corporate tax rates.

The move is not conspiracy as such, but when it comes to Monsanto and GMO conspiracy it's always worth keeping tabs on them and seeing what they are up to.
