All these little pharaohs and wanna be philosopher kings are pathetic. They will fall with all the people and systems they dream of enslaving or destroying. All governments get their power from the consent of the people- either explicit consent or implicit consent. Rebranding is unlikely to give them the legitimacy of either explicit or implicit support from the vast majority of the world's population. They simply do not have enough bullets, bombs, drones, or germs to control the world the way they think they are entitled to control it. They have failed miserably to sufficiently incentivize their adversaries (I'm looking at you Russia, China, and North Korea) and keep all those adversaries complacent with their one world government plan.

Ulluses

Maybe I've softened over the years but even though this article has elements I don't agree with the overarching theme and several elements like the universal currency control and technological protection (which is really just eternal governmental omniprensence in a fancy hat, whether it can be fully realised or not) make some very scary and valid points.

It definitely makes a lot of sense given the current goings on in the world and I can easily imagine such people trying to make the best of it and minimise unknown elements to implement their full itinerary. We'll have to see what happens I guess moving forward into this, I certainly know how I'll be voting and watching in any case and this article has opened my eyes a little to a lot of potential threats I hadn't considered the full danger of.
