I make certain that the time I spend fetching the receipt blocks the gas pump for as long as possible. If the station is jammed with cars then potential customers often will look for another not so busy gas station. I don't get mad, I get even.

As somone who worked at a gas station for over a decade, NO.

This is beyond fucking retarded.

This is how it goes, A: either the clerk is lazy and sees the machine low and out of paper and does not give a fuck. B: Most probabale scenario is the customer is fucking brain dead and did not request the receipt. Lastly C: The printer actually did malfunction.

In all three scenarios the clerk wants you to piss off get in your car and drive the fuck off. Why the fuck do you need a receipt you dirty fuck bag? We can tell if you are in a company car or something and want to get reimbursed but you are not. You do not need a fucking receipt you twat.

Stop fucking wasting peoples time asking for a shitty recipt that you are going to toss in the trash on your way out the door. We have much more important things to do than print your precious little recipt that you can view on your mobil banking app. We are trying to not be bothered because we all hate you the general retarded customer and want to not be bothered with your inane mortifying small talk, we just want to drink our coffee, smoke a cigarette, and stare at the hot milf pumping gas on #10.

i understand the clerk being lazy. i drive a company car and require a receipt for gas since i dont have a company gas card so i would need to be reimbursed

I've noticed recently that a lot of gas stations seem to "malfunction" or something along those lines instead of printing you a receipt.

I just get in my car and go on my merry way. Either the worker at the gas station is too lazy to replace the printer paper or they are doing it on purpose.

Regardless I swiped my card and paid for my gas and have a history of the transaction at my bank.

Or most gas stations are understaffed to save money and changing receipt paper at the pump is a very low priority. Especially since most people don't keep them anyway.
