Get off Facebook for starters. Just my recommendation.

Nothing in realspace changes overnight without a major happening (such as 9/11). The media however does change their narrative overnight, so it's quite possible they scrapped one plan in exchange for the next.

My theory: All the BLM BS flared up just long enough to slide the story about the expansion of patriot act 2.0. The lawmakers were waiting for a semi-major happening (the dallas cop shootings) to try and push their new legislation. They likely assumed the bill would not pass, but the 229-177 (229 for, 177 against) result serves as a solid poll of where support lies, and who they have to "convince" to support them. They still have the benefit of their "poll" being largely shielded from the masses, who will be taken by surprise next time this pops up. They only need another ~42 votes to pass this, depending on how many abstain votes are present.

It still passed, but did not enough for the fast track "instant win" option.

Perhaps you're right, but I was under the impression that a super majority was needed in this case. I could be wrong though, thats just my interpretation from reading this article . Could just be a bad article.

They system is crumbling too fast and oligarchs didn't have enough time to fix their long game. They shoved BLM down the nations throat to start a race war. Problem is there is like 40 million black people and BLM only has a few thousand supporters. BLM fucked up do bad that the unspoken and long-standing taboo about not talking shit about other blacks to non-blacks has been done away with. BLM has forced the black community to draw the line between black folks and niggers with BLM being on the wrong side of that line. This outcome was not intended.

The oligarchs did not understand digital technology. They did not understand that a "virtual paper trail" and "end to secrets and anonymity" would apply to them as well.

They do not know what to do. To make matters worse, the economy is readjusting itself after all those years of Greenspan's policies, so what made them rich is starting to become a liability.

Fun times are ahead.

It's a lot harder to pull 'but not all black people' than it is 'but not all Muslims', because when the black people celebrate on Twitter, the average American can actually read what they're saying.
