Right but it would have been fuckery for Cruz, and Cruz got buried in Indiana. He stood no chance of winning so my intuition would be that "suiciding" the lawyer was more just to quash the digging and then quietly go out. Cruz stood no chance of being the would-be loser to Hillary as much as the deep state wanted him to be.
