I love how it implies that Eastern European countries are responsible for these arms getting to the Middle East.

When it's known that the U.S. supplied the Mujaheddin in the Afghanistan war with AK47s and other Russian weapons because it was easy supply in the first place, easy to resupply ammo, easier to maintain, etc.
