To clarify on my first post, I wasn't saying he deserved to be arrested for exposing her server. I was saying that given how the law has previously handled this kind of situation, this was the outcome I expected.

Makes sense. We have a precedent for punishing hackers for hacking when they come forward to reveal criminal activity that the found while hacking. Same thing happened to the guy who made the news look at the Steubenville rape case.
