I believe that these people are CIA plants. They produce so many ideas that involve any current topic and wrap it up in a completely ridiculous theory so that when you try to talk about any of the legitimate theories they can say "oh yeah, there are a ton of stupid theories about that, like the one where...." to immediately discredit a valid argument. It's just another way of controlling the dialog.
