War with Russia means civil war in the US. To many people are awake and know (even before the actual shooting starts) what the score is.

I agree with you. I'm unsure of whether there's enough of a voice opposing war with Russia to stop it entirely, but certainly enough that people wouldn't be culled en masse into supporting it.

On the bright side, we might see some really interesting technology used in the war, and it'll probably be used by civilians after the war, if it happens, which I hope it won't.
