Because he's the tap dancer in the corner giving the illusion of choice. That's the reason they chose such a ridiculous figure as "opposition", to really nail down the "see, you CAN choose someone different!!" narrative.

TrevorLahey

Hillary is a despicable candidate (and human) but an excellent debater. Trump is lousy at impromptu oratory but will probably make a "survivable" President in that he is good at taking counsel.

Datawych

Because Hillary supporters seriously believe big, mean Russia is behind everything.

I was called a conspiracy theorist the other day for NOT believing that Russia's involved.

That's the level of stupid we're dealing with.

BigFatDaddy

I have no idea. Maybe Hillary threatened to have all his kids Kennedy'd? I just feel like last night was a total pooch screw.

carbanara

I think he's trying to redpill

auggs

'Conspiracy theorist', "don't trust the govt"

Whoa that's crazy talk.

Clinton, "the Russian govt is interfering with the election" (by exposing my corruption)

Maybe she needs her meds. This seems too far-fetched. I also really dislike that somehow it's not illegal to illegally store classified info on an insecure server and lose that info yet CNN says its illegal to read these documents. She's pathetic in every sense of the word.

Never_Over

these debates are about issues, its a pony show. its for those who didnt look up the info for themselves. this is why the only thing hillary did was attack his character, everytime every debate.

Konran

Indeed. For those who think this isn't just some over-hyped meaningless popularity contest run by the all-powerful shadow rulers of the 'civilised' world, we must forgive them for they know not what they think.

Trump is better than Hillary, but the overall problem with those currently wishing to run for political leadership roles is that they all sit somewhere between the two schools of basic Narcissism and outright Sociopathy.

So they all lie, cheat and manipulate truths in order to achieve their goal - always adhering to the well-known Machiavellian phrase; 'The end justifies the means'.

Never_Over

the thing is that you have to work with them. you cannot just ignore them, and be angry at their views.

otherwise it would be a dictatorship, like we have now with obama

To be fair they don't really have enough time to articulate anything, just sound bites.

1moar

Yeah they kind of have to hit it from a high-level overview. You get two minutes to ram something home and focusing on one specific item can backfire. Hit the general idea first and maybe highlight a couple as examples.

BigFatDaddy

I kind of agree with you. I wasn't suprised that Chris Wallace let her deflect and avoid talking about the content of the leaks. But Trump should have gone for blood. This was his big chance. Why didn't he hammer her on the issues instead of stammering: "I don't know Putin. I'm not best friends with Putin."

Consider my bullshit flag raised to full mast,

1moar

I disagree. He destroyed her.

sweetholymosiah

I'm seeing a few news websites saying the same thing. I guess I'm off in my own world. With all the shit released on her, nothing less than prosecution is sufficient. I wish Trump were more organized, more direct, feeding the people intelligence... but seemed to be alienating the normies.

pitenius

Here's the problem: she's just about the devil incarnate. Any directed criticism turns to invective and hyperbole quickly . She's committed more treason than Ethyl Rosenberg. The logical next step is calling for her blood. This convinces no one and actually helps her. I'm not sure how to tackle that problem.

1moar

I agree on the prosecution point. He definitely needs to continue polishing his act though. I did notice one thing - she had to keep looking down while speaking, whereas he was very well prepared and did not have to refer to notes much at all when it was his turn.

There was something really off about her too. Especially when she was not speaking, she came off extremely creepy. You know how in older zoo's, where some of the animals might have a repeated pattern of movement in their enclosure? She was totally doing that, it was like she kept repeating these movements. Idk, she's creepy as hell.

SzarHazy69

Full blown psychopaths are creepy. She will, in the years to come if she is left alive, will become the next Stalin.

OfficialBenGarrison

I noticed that too. Before the word "Wikileaks" came out she was cool and collected. As soon as the emails were brought up she couldn't stay still for the rest of the debate.
