I want to discuss the ongoing DDoS attack against DynDNS ( conspiracy )

I want to open this with a quote straight from the website of DynDNS, their VISION for the world: "to be the company connecting people, content, and commerce through a single global internet." That sounds to me almost word for word like some open borders open society shit Soros would peddle, so we need to take this target into account.

This DDoS attack has been knocking down platforms like reddit and twitter...which is an amazing feat in and if itself. Those are websites DESIGNED to handle millions of unique visitors per day. A distributed denial of service attack capable of knocking those platforms down is in no way, shape, or form small. This is a big deal. From the tech side, I would have previously said it would be flat out impossible to have done a DDoS attack like this, so guys like the Lizard Squad wouldn't have been able to pull this off.

I hate to say it, but the nature of this attack is too big to be done by some script kiddies. This looks like an attack done by a state entity.

If anything, this is to attempt to bolster the claim that "the internet is under attack by authoritarian regimes since hand-off of ICANN" which is total and complete bullshyte.

DynDNS is how you connect a dynamic IP address to a static website.

There isn't really a whole lot of nefarious ends you can pull out of their actions. They provide a free dynamic DNS service.

I honestly don't know what else they do though. I'm avoiding calling DynDNS the bad guy for right now.

They provide it for free out of the goodness of their hearts and I'm sure the 38 million dollar donation that really got them off the ground in the first place had no strings attached.

I'm just saying this deserves a thorough investigation. This isn't some small time issue we should just let go of. To pull off an attack of this magnitude requires an unbelievable consolidation of resources.

I just think there is more to this than meets the eye.

What I think is happening is that Cloudflare is taking over and injecting themselves as the DDoS protectorate likely by conducting the DDoS attacks themselves.

You are too young to remember when Voat went through the same thing where the servers kept going down. Eventually they had to get a cloudflare subscription.

You misunderstand my account age by thinking it's the only one I've ever had. It's a little overdue for my time to switch to a new one, but with CTR being as active as they have been I'm not interested in relinquishing down voating abilities. I came over with the r/conspiracy posts about the cabal over a year ago.

So I remember the DDoS attacks. I remember the CP attacks even.

As such, I won't discredit your theory by any means, but it doesn't alleviate just how disturbing the nature of this attack is.
