Why Not This...? ( conspiracy )

submitted 2016-11-05T19:53 by stllthrownwayaway

Not sure if this belongs here, but....

There is absolutely no reason that the current US voting system should exists as it does. The technology that is available could be implemented in a short period of time and make voting almost tamper proof.

Simply adding blockchain tech and a simple receipt to the system would able a voter to see who they voted for, when they voted, where they voted, and even if there was a problem with their vote and have a record of all that on a receipt smaller than you would get at a CVS for buying a pack of gum.

All the votes then could be viewed on the said blockchain and counted by anyone. A private voter ID would allow an individual to see who they voted for on the blockchain and if it matches their receipt.

I'm far from being a smart guy, but if I can figure this out it means the powers that be need the current system to ensure voting fraud and fixed elections. It is an admission of guilt. Enough is enough. FUCK THE DUMB SHIT!
