It was just reported that Google/Alphabet and Facebook were going to be clamping down on so-called “fake” news sites.

Like clockwork, floating around on the Internet now is a list of these “fake” sites authored by Melissa Zimdars, assistant professor of Media and Communications at Merrimack College.

It just so happens to include almost every major alternative news site you can imagine.

She has deemed all of these sites as “false, misleading, clickbait-y, and/or satirical ‘news’ sources”.

This list, she claims, is for educational purposes only (think about what viewpoint those college students are paying to be taught), but it is being shared everywhere including by the LA Times like it’s an authoritative list from a valid, vetted, unbiased source.

While it is being reported that google will do something about "fake" news sites this list was created by a college professor with zero connect to google.

Time to sell GOOG.

I've still been using google, but I won't any more.. I am guessing their censoring is only going to get worse until it can hardly be classified as a search engine any more, and more as a "ministry of truth search engine"

I guess I will use duckduckgo I guess.. I don't want to use any thing that pulls results from google I suppose..

This really is a battle for peoples' minds.. The global elite are trying to make it so even if an SJW hypothetically wants to start educating them selves and turn off the TV MSM and try to find out news from the internet, they will just be getting biased stories that confirm to them that the MSM was "true" because google is going to censor all of the alternative-media and leave only the MSM-type sites at the top of the search results..

How is Uncensored not on that list?

The list includes well known and frequented sites, such as Prisonplanet/Infowars, Breitbart, LewRockwell, The Free Thought Project, Natural News, The Daily Sheeple, and ZeroHedge (which has the highest "fake" rating of 4).

Activist sites like Projectveritas are also labeled as "fake". I'm honestly surprised that sites like Techdirt & the EFF didn't make the list of "fake" news sites too.

I can't express how disgusting and manipulative this behavior is. I will even go so far as to say that maybe some regulation is in order, so that censorship such as this is prevented. It would have to be carefully crafted, but i feel that this should somehow be prevented by law.

In the meantime, this , this , this , and this , amount to a helpful list of sites i might not have frequented but should.

Looks like my forecast awhile ago is coming true.

Do not use any google product. Even using other corporate resources is better than a monopoly. There is always an alternative.
