Not the first time someone said the sun and earthquakes are related. Don't hate him. Science is all for making predictions based on observations as a form of evidence.

Never_Over

the sun guides everything on this planet and others, i wouldn't be surprised by this.

Even a stopped clock is right two times a day.

I hate to be "that guy", but I agree here that Fukushima nutters are all over the place predicting doom at all times. Also... from an occult perspective, demons know the near future, but only angels know the distant future, which is what sets prophets apart from diviners. Anyone can have a dream about what will happen this week, but "dreams are 1/60th of prophecy".

I vaguely recall another quake prediction made recently that was about 3 days off as well. If I think of what it was i'll post it.

It's possible, I'm just amazed to see the prediction to 1) happen 2) be so damn close (location, date and strength). Honestly, I just put this out there to get more opinion on this.

The posters idea that solar energy "hibernates inside the planet" sounds like a rambling theory based on feels instead of reals but the idea that solar wind could have some impact that triggers earthquakes doesn't sound impossible.

In other words, the guy got lucky. I saw the post, and if you occasionally watch stuff like dutchsinse you can generally guess earthquake patterns better than the reddit solar guy. I'm not saying he was wrong, if they come out and keep the predictions coming I'll choose then to believe it was more than a mere guess on the greater ring of fire.
