Government involvement doesn't surprise me. It being conducted by DoD rather than an intelligence agency does a bit.

Figured as much. Google, Yahoo, Reddit, Paypal, Facebook, and any of the other big names out there work hand-in-hand with the government. In many ways these corporations have become the government.

As they say in business, follow the money. From what I've been hearing big money is banking on a huge financial crisis that will cause civil unrest and retaliatory strikes from the gerenal populace against the fortunate few. When it comes, it is up to us in the know to help guide the disenfranchised, pissed off, masses to the real enemies of the Republic.

It's never been a matter of if. It has always been a matter of when. I think that when is now.

Corporations becoming the government is the simplest definition of fascism. With America projected to have a huge surplus in labor supply driving down wages and coinciding with high unemployment, the economy for the average person is going to be revolt worthy.
