All I can say is, the following quote says a lot about the USA and Russia:

You Either Die A Hero, Or You Live Long Enough To See Yourself Become The Villain

It's strangely funny how the tables have turned. It seems to me that Russia has significantly eroded the high ground, the Americans have been walking on for decades, within a mere 6-10 years. I'm also happy that propagation of misinformation through major media is easily countered by the people of the Internet who have feet on the ground everywhere. And are ready to refute any and all bullshit that mass media tries to pass of as "actual facts". I thank each and every day that we have the Internet and people who do the research to shed light on these dark corners.
