What this man says isn't true.

But what he says is also true.

It's complicated.

It's complicated because money isn't what most people think it is. It's been replaced with a different system, for arguably good reasons, that has some serious drawbacks, which we've been running into more and more often as the system nears a collapse.

Money was once strongly based on certain commodities, especially precious metals, which was at least noticeably changed when it was devalued. (Bitcoin is rather similar to this, which makes it interesting on multiple levels.) Then came paper money, and its devaluation was legitimized, and finally put directly under governmental control. Central banks and government managers now control the currency - which is no longer really money. And yeah, a managed system can figut disruptive deflation, an unavoidable consequence of expanding economies. But it's vulnerable to misuse and exploitation, which we are experiencing now.

I don't know how long this system can continue to hold together, it might be decades, but historically no money has survived devaluation and I don't expect this one to either.

What is this man name ?

Terrible fucking post title, great video though

HashTagFU

So simple and articulate. All of this bullshit about derivatives and too big to fail and credit default swaps. Bunk. What it boils down to is a criminal cabal of banksters that are now the de-facto world mafia.

Stavon

He neither flips out nor exposes anything. He just states some well known facts.

Philosopher_King

Flip out? Where? I want to downvote for the title, but upvote for the content.

Womb_Raider

Agree. He was reserved. He raised his voice, because he's right to question such a moronic arrangement, but he was reserved.

iamrage

My worthless opinion, but that man deserved an hour long standing ovation for simply saying what we've already known for years.

vastrightwing

He didn't expose anything: people who understand a little finance have known this for years. Banks are over leveraged hedge funds. They are dangerous, have been since Glass-steagal was repealed. And it's much much worse. They hold dangerous amounts of derivatives and if the underlying assets get discovered that the derivatives are insolvent and banks try to unwind this mess, taxpayers will instantly be turned into share holders of bankrupt banks. Etc. Etc.

Tancred

Exactly and the whole point of the abolishing of cash is to force every citizen to bail in the banks.

How greedy can these fucking cunts get? Isn't the way they're currently stealing enough?

iamrage

When's enough? Banks are like black holes, shit's never enough.

Tancred

If they collapse the system, all of their amassed currency will be worthless.
