Their code is open source, feel free to look at it for yourself, or you know, you can go about your life making decisions on entirely circumstantial personal anecdotes.

shmegegy

this guy is very suspicious.. like jones.

OWNtheNWO

You're suspicious. You infighting trolls are a dime a fucking dozen. Usually how this goes down is someone gets into alt media and gets a hard on for this or that other personality and beefs with them for a while, throws up a bunch of fluff then everyone moves on.

shmegegy

no really, there are some serious questions about this Rudowski and Jones especially. They are public figures.

OWNtheNWO

No really, people have been saying that shit for as long as I've been doing this, people were attacking Luke almost immediately when he came on the scene 10 years ago, nothing of any substance ever materializes.

There are plenty of differences of opinion/worldview/delivery that could be made against any member of alternative media, not just these two, but that's not your 'serious questions' which is a loaded statement in itself.

shmegegy

nothing of any substance.. sure.

Kotaku

He mentions reddit and wikipedia, and they are some of the worse places on the net. Ideologically driven places, you ever question their narratives they'll start a witch hunt against you. Who's to say this couldn't happen on minds. When you get alot of people into one place it can create an echo chamber, but as long as they don't advocate safe spaces and let peoples ideas be challenged with debate the site could work. Also I would push keeping your identity anonomous, that won't stop people from signing up with their real name, but as long as the main focus be freedom of speech. I'll make an account, and check it out. I wonder how people will react if someone makes a page for white supremacy or something lool.

salvia_d

I think you are doing wikipedia a serious disservice if you compare it to Reddit. It really depends on what you are using wiki for. If you are looking at Math articles, it's one of the best sources of info. If you are looking at politics, then take things with a very large grain of salt. If you are looking at healthcare, a smaller grain of salt. etc.

Kotaku

I wouldn't want to wait till they start coming up with excuses to say numbers are racist or something to stop using wikipedia and I'm sure there are better sources on the net to learn math from.

OWNtheNWO

IDK I'm curious to see how they'll react to that, it's a hard road to be an absolutist about free speech on your property on the internet.
