Absolutely not. People will find the type of stuff if and when they are ready. If they aren't ready they will get annoyed with having it on their frontpage (I suspect a majority don't start a profile to manage what they see), and either start trolling this sub or get a bit turned off Whoaverse. Cant be good whichever way it goes.

No matter how much we are prepared to embrace the content of this sub, many, many aren't yet ready. Let them find it in their own time.

Nah. With the information available to us, default status would only attract users who do not care to add to the discussion at hand.

Have you seen v/news ? I wonder if I am looking at v/conspiracy , but nope, just news. Looking at v/all is a good indicator that this sub should not be a default. Many articles that are non v/conspiracy are things that would be normally found here.

No, never ever ever. Why? Because those whose life narrative dismisses our entire being instantly, will destroy this sub if it was a default. You must allow those seeking knowledge to come to us instead of forcing it onto their laps.

I personally don't think there should be any defaults.

Also see link , where we had this discussion previously.

This discussion was before most subscribers showed up and didn't include the mods. I am sure the plutocracy would like us to keep our light under a bucket so most people are not exposed to the information we post.

I was ambivalent when I posted the question but the attack on the idea convinces me the shill army has been told to be against it. Which tells me we should be for it.

DrWho

Maybe not make up conspiracies about why you didn't get the answer you wanted.

How you could conclude the 'shill army' is out to attack this idea is beyond me.

Unicorn

I disagree with everything you have said.

Asking the community is great but because one side is against something that does not mean you must be for the antithesis.
