If you take any action to correct the problem outside of whining about it, the action taken against you in the form of retribution would be one hundred fold. I'll take the down-goats, but I know it's true. I know I'm too big of a wuss to actually do anything about it aside from typing this drivel on the internet as an armchair activist.

Some kind of analysis or proof. (Personally I'm biased towards the opinions of academics.) Most people (like my parents) simply regurgitate Fox News and call it good.

Usually when I hear things like this I don't care, but with this one I feel like it resonates with me and what I've heard people saying irl about the police. Sweeping generalizations, yes, but not entirely unfounded.
