aluminum is a known neurotoxin even if it doesn't cause alzheimers. It's not something you want to be ingesting with any regularity

lostnewbie

auromere is a good natural toothpaste. I use a peelu root, often called miswak, and haven't used a toothbrush or toothpaste in almost 3 years and just saw a dentist for the first time in 10 years and was told my teeth look great. I brush once a day maybe 4 or 5 times a week with this root and floss just as often.

Missouri_Dad

That's good news? Fluoride is a highly toxic substance.

Womb_Raider

There are others, friend.

Womb_Raider

I use flouride-free toothpaste, personally. You don't need flouride too badly so long as you keep up with your brushing, flossing and use mouth wash. But I'm just making the argument that you can get the benefits of flouride without drinking the stuff.

Womb_Raider

That was debunked ages ago.

Hey! You're that nice dude who recommended pine tar soap, right? I've always heard aluminum was bad for you, when was this debunked?

I avoid aluminum in my deoderant and cooking habits

Womb_Raider

I'll look around for it, thanks pal!

JoJoVoat

Flouride is poison. I havent purchased crap chemical toothpaste in years. I use bentonite clay, baking soday, coconut charcoal and pink Himalayan salt. Super Clean!
No Flouride. No GMO's Government likes to make and keep us sick.

MetalAegis

Dang, how will I calcify my pineal gland?

Womb_Raider

We shouldn't use aluminum as widely as we do, either. It's unhealthy too.

I try to only use stainless steel, glass, or ceramic for food or beverages.

literallly

Are there health risks with aluminum foil and cooking?

BB-3

Aluminum is linked to Alzheimer's. Both in cookware and in a lot of anti-perspirant deodorants too.

rumpleshinsplint

Dont worry, they put plenty into your shampoo and deodorant to help that wonderful fluoride pass your blood-brain barrier!

Womb_Raider

Nah, I use Burt's Bees deodorant and Dr Bronner's shampoo. It's not cheap, but I know the product is solid.

rumpleshinsplint

Ah well good for you. I use the natural shit too. Its really not that much more expensive considering thise things last for over a month and are like 3 dollars more.

glugglug

Something that should have been done at least a century ago.

GIF-lLL-S0NG

They have only been adding it since the end of WW2.

Ciscogeek

So much good news lately. I'm loving this. The evil is beginning to crumble.

meowski

NaF and fluorosilicates have been used as insecticide for 100 years. Calling it forced medication is putting it mildly.

kittysaysmeownow

oxygen doesn't rot your intestines though

EngelbertHumperdinck

Make this happen. It'll save me a few bucks a year on filters.

hotairmakespopcorn

The FDA's own research confirms there is no benefit to water fluoridation. Even the poorest of Americans get plenty of fluoride from their oral care products. Most of the world consider water fluoridation to be a form water contamination and not fit for human consumption. Likewise, countries without water fluoridation policies have equal oral health to those who do add it to water.

Water fluoridation has never been a health policy, but rather a waste disposal policy.

Ginger_Snaps

I can get all the fluoride I need from toothpaste.

glugglug

You don't need any . Baking soda toothpaste is better.

green_man

Fluoride is poison, there is no reason to include it in drinking water. Want to treat your teeth with fluoride? Get a tooth paste with fluoride.

foltaisaprovenshill

Yep. Anyone who says you should drink flouride for tooth decay prevention is lying and anti-science.

Womb_Raider

Yep. Using it in toothpaste makes sense. You swish the poison around, it affects the local area as it is meant to, you spit it out. You don't fucking ingest it. And why not? Because it says on the tube "do not swallow". Why is that?

Because it has a poison in it. That poison is fucking flouride.

catslovejustice

Which makes me wonder should we even been putting it in our mouths in the first place?

Rb8623

Came here to make the same point. Its ridiculous.

What_was_that_2

Damn right
