the alien ant farm version was true to MJ's song, we spent hours comparing the two when it came out.

Just listened to a few smooth criminals online and double "hit by" verse throws me off. even all the lyric sites have it listed with the double "hit by" and on mobile so i camt see if theres an edited date

now I have to see if I have smooth criminal at home, pretty sure I do.

Interesting, thanks for the response. I couldn't confirm which version I remember being correct after I watched this video but I'm almost sure it was 'hit by, struck by'
