According to this video and article his website showed pictures of some type of Glock handgun, the video claims it had a 13 round magazine; likely a Glock 21. If he reloaded 5 times, that mean he fired 6 full magazines, since the gun was to begin with. 6 full, 13 round magazines is 78 rounds in total. This means he fired on average, 8-9 rounds per person killed.

I'm not saying this data means anything, I just was curious and thought to share.

Shooting someone is difficult. It's not like it is portrayed on television, point and shoot. If anything, this is an indication that existing firearm controls are (somewhat) working and that fair access to firearms are necessary for public safety. Having to re-load 5 times means that anyone who also had a firearm and proper training could have had multiple chances to take him out. Even with the repeatedly banned extended clips he would have had to reload at least twice, meaning that in any other place where carrying is allowed there was a chance he could have been stopped before he got to hurt a lot of those people.

OP what the fuck is your point? There's nothing to discuss here at the moment... you just posted some speculative link to google. What's the conspiracy behind loading 5 times to shoot 9 people?!

Honestly shooting a pistol with no experience, this is not at all surprising. Your average joe would probably miss 7/10 or so from 10-15meter distance shooting at a moving target. Source: Was military police in the army, saw and did a lot of shooting with pistols.

Even with a revolver that seems excessive.

So he was a shitty shot. Not surprising, dumbass kid with no training trying to shoot moving targets.

NY Daily News said it was a .45 caliber.
