No new drugs would be made. New drugs age shockingly expensive to develop, but, generally, incredibly cheap to produce. That's why they have a time limited monopoly;to recoup the costs of the drug development. Removing IP rights would mean that the company that spent billions of dollars developing, testing and getting a drug through the FDA, would not be able to get those costs back. Revoking intellectual property would ensure that there would be no new drugs.
