I've said it before and I'll say it again, Russia wants its internet locked down like Chinas, its made its intentions known a long time ago. Anyone thats surprised by this news has not been paying attention. I forget what I was arguing about last time, but people were still praising Russia for banning twitter or something like that. Well, is anyone going to praise Russia now? This has been coming for a long time, its not just western propaganda thats being banned now, it can be anything they dont like.
