One Russian guy that receives lots of attention because he has a prophetic doomsday message which will probably not come true? Kinda reeks of ridiculing conspiracy theories in general.

I do not refute his claim though of governments and NASA hiding it, or proclaiming they will see it coming. Seems like a logical step for anyone who controls power, wealth and information. However, apparently we do have another (10th) planet in our solar system with a sun , the rich are making or buying bunkers, the magnetic poles are shifting , and things are escalating in the world. I'd rather attest the destruction of our planet to on one of those.

I fucking hope so.

Let the cockroaches have a go, they can't fuck it up as bad as we have.

"“The trajectory of 2016 WF9 is well understood, and the object is not a threat to Earth for the foreseeable future,” NASA wrote.

If an asteroid is indeed on the way towards planet Earth, we’ll definitely see it coming."

NO THEY WONT

They miss way to many. Hearing Neil Tyson talk about this will change your tune.

The meteor over russia that blasted out windows and was caught via dashcam, WAS NEVER SEEN.

Now, about this meteor in particular, who knows.. I don't work in this line of field, but for NASA to say they will see it coming spews hubris from all openings.

ZenAtheist

Nibiru? Jesus Christ, not this again. Fucking hell.

ZenAtheist

I know about that. It's not the same thing. There is no such thing as the "Nibiru system".

According to the conspiracy it has a low-burning sun of its own, making it sound like a system, and ours a binary star system. I'd still rather see the data (as above video) to make my own conclusions though.

discojack

Yea, apparently ancient structures that still exist today point this out, but it's also been assumed to point out other things. To link it to a 20,000~25,000 year cycle in which Earth has a binary star is kind of puzzling. It covers the "why" aspect of these structures though, as in, wouldn't a primitive (or even today's culture) be miffed that they suddenly were losing one of their stars?? I think that would be structure worthy, but where is the writing, the hieroglyphics, it would be so long ago it would all be under the sea, then that wipes out the pyramids, but we probably don't exactly know how the geography of the earth was back when they were built.

Every year is the end of days... to some people

Awesome! I knew I was planning to give that Valentines present a little early for good reason!
