Social Media was a nice thing. Then David Brock happened.

This sounds like something that would violate some sort of antitrust law.... Be a real sham if some one looked into that

You would have to prove they are doing it, which would take some serious legislation that might be used against us at this point. I say, let the free market decide. We don't have to use these companies that push their political platform. It sucks that basically sets up two echo chambers with diametrically opposed views.

Hopefully any legislation that comes of it specifies that it only effects media conglomerate companies, and not small businesses or individuals.

And in a situation where a consumer is paying for a product, I would agree. The market corrects itself. But for these services, YOU are the product and when using other services and work make it MANDITORY for you to have these services in order to remain in employement or find further employeement and when Mark Zuckerberg wants to evaluate your credit score and effect your credit score (look up his pattent on this) it is no longer a free market choice.

This is why Anti-Trust Laws exist. To keep companies from black listing you for wrong think, then having people from having lists to go after you for that wrong think to keep you from ever earning a living or destroying your credit based on wrong think, and ban you from all platforms for speaking...

You can see how dystopian this is getting. Again, if a product were being sold free market solutions would be acceptable. This is not the case. Using the market only works when you are the consumer.

Damn. Good point.
