For anyone against the human trials of anything: it's the only way it works. Developing drugs in rats means you get great drugs for rats. Now the issue of consent is another matter entirely.

You aren't missing out on anything earth shattering. At most they're using Africans as human test subjects on cancer drugs (50% of the trials there).
