norse

but i get what youre saying. no it wasnt close..

norse

it was compared to earth, as it was in space etc.

norse

this object was bigger then the moon.

Wuttier

Aren't there Russian and Chinese satellites in orbit?

SaveTheChildren

And? Why don't they show us Antarctica?

norse

i watched a livefeed like that once, and 10 minutes in, this huge round object (not the moon) started rising in the horizon. no one said anything in chat, so me. like a fucking idiot said "thats not the moon, what the fuck is that shit?" 30 seconds later the feed got cut.

SaveTheChildren

Same bullshit. We need to hold those in power accountable.

They are lying to us.

addie89

Iève heard it relates to "The Hollow Earth Theory." That there is actually a tunnel leading into the earth.

norse

bigger then that my friend, check my subverse: /v/HollowEarth /

addie89

Ya, that is pretty much what I was hinting at. Have you ever heard of Anton Parks? I think he mentions it at some point.

norse

no i have not, thanks. checking him out now.

SaveTheChildren

I don't know what it relates to, but it's obvious they are hiding something.

My best guess is ancient ruins that prove all the history we learn about in school is bullshit. But maybe I'm just being hopeful.

Antiseed117

Same reason we don't get SAT images over Area 51. They have something to hide.

SaveTheChildren

They brainwashed us all into thinking its just a huge block of ice with some penguins... We're so gullible.

Antiseed117

No so gulible as compared to just uninformed. Knowledge is power and they control the knowledge.

Tancred

Not every satellite has cameras capable of capturing HD photos.
There are probably satellites which measure temperature and whatnot of Antarctica, but not necessarily taking photos, probably because they payoff isn't there. No one cares about huge swaths of ice and snow.

Besides, the really good photos on google earth are shot by planes anyway.

Aswimmingday

It has mountains and cliffs, not just ice.

SaveTheChildren

No one cares about huge swaths of ice and snow.

You so readily believe that Antarctica is nothing but huge swaths of ice and snow. I know they told us that in school and all, but that's bullshit.

There's all sorts of interesting geological features. It's one of our continents, why should we just ignore it?

None of your answers really make any sense. We have people that study Antarctica, no? I'm sure they use satellite imagery, no? Why can we not see the images?

drakesdoom

Because it would be very expensive to launch a satellite into a polar orbit to take pictures for your curiosity.

SaveTheChildren

https://www-spof.gsfc.nasa.gov/Education/wlopolar.html

This says we have many such satellites. Why don't they provide us with the images? They obscure it all.

SaveTheChildren

They can't launch one? We send a rover to mars but we can't satellite image one of the continents?

I don't buy it.
