Remember those articles about how MSM sites were using Chinese bots to inflate traffic? Alexa is now hiding County-based traffic information for them. ( conspiracy )

Now if you visit the Alexa page for The Guardian, The New York Times, and The Washington Post, the part where it would normally show what country traffic is coming from is replaced with a message that says:

Country-based traffic information is temporarily unavailable for this site.

I'm not very surprised by this. If anyone could prove that that traffic was bought and paid for then they can be accused of defrauding their investors. People seem to love a good cover-up.

It seems like Alexa is just trying to push their premium service by limiting the information of top-tier sites. For example, Pornhub country data is blocked but smaller porn sites like BaDoink aren't. I doubt there is an intentional conspiracy here.
