It's not the idea itself, it's the people shoving their own ideas down our throats.

Spying on the opposition during an election and justifying it with a bs Russian interference conspiracy theory? Ofukwad may be able to weasel out of this with the media on his side, an advantage that Nixon did not have. He can hide behind national security on this, unless they find more.

Here were my thoughts on this as a whole:

"Have you ever caught a liar, stopped a thief before things got worse? A slip of the tongue that revealed insight to the situation at hand. As any parent would notice a child's bad behavior beforehand, such as eating cake before bed, and correct them. Main stream media inc. has been revealing themselves for a long time. And the tapping of Trumps phone, if this is true, is the tipping point of the iceberg.

If you watched the debates, you would have noticed the contrived narrative presented between nearly all parties. Not just towards the end with Hillary Clinton's composure, scripted attitude. But more insight into a grander narrative... trump broke the narrative though his impulsive nature, which never seemed off-point to be used against him.

The problem at hand is that if one political party, a dynasty of lobbying financial systems are unified under one flag, that if Bush and Clinton can sit side by side. You get a system that will undermine opposition with what ever means possible. Tapping a phone of a candidate before an election is bad. Imagine if talking point were known before a debate... imagine having the upper hand on a canadite by knowing all their conversations. Imagine how you fast things would surface that way.

This idea war is clear, blame the intel gathering on the MSM narrative of looking for intel on Russia and Trump. But what we have is a much greater problem, a much grander constructed narrative.

The point will be missed, tapping the phone of a canadate is one step closer to a KGB style political system. I don't care if a communist, a socialist, a Green Party, a libertarian, etc representative runs for office. This is democracy, everyone has the right to state their point without a system that undermines the principles of democracy. And if we, the democracy, choose to undermine our people, then we no longer deserve to be a democracy. The day we vote away our rights." Posted this to whatever
