This reminds me of a cool fact - that trees communicate electromagnetically and will react to nearby trees being chopped into. It has been measured as an experiment. I don't have time to lookup the research again, but it is out there. EMF is more inherent to life on Earth than is widely understood.

Bacterial mats (biofilm) will also send small electrostatic signals to other bacteria, we recently learned. Presumably to encourage them to join the group.

Not saying that this doesn't deserve further study, but you should also consider how low power most cell phones are. You're under thousands of times more EMF by driving near a radio tower.

This is one of those facts that doesn't make any friends.

But remember, only heat effects matter when looking at the safety of electromagnetic radiation, right? right? Electric or magnetic forces couldn't possible effect humans, if they aren't literally cooking you, right? (Just pointing out the logic of fcc/industry safety studies)
