Privacy is cheaper.

The more you try to control something, the more you are controlled by it. The more they try to control the population, the more reactionary they will become.

It will get to the point where it will become too costly, and they will implode. That is the worst case scenario.

The more likely scenario is that they will, through their own incompetence, expose themselves as crooks. Their opposition will seize the moment, and destroy them publicly.

We may in fact witness this happen some time this year.

Up until about 4 or 5 years ago the msm would cover the work of privacy advocates. It looks like they've been ordeted to stop doing that.

It is less sliding down a slippery slope and more running full speed into a wall.

IoT is just ramping up, with Cisco forecasting 50bn devices by 2020. Most of which will be collecting data on us in some manner and sending it to the cloud.

Why would anyone want a private life? What are they hiding?
