I hate how the wird 'student' is used. It directs your perception that this us teachers faults. Parents assume responsibility if they raise ignorants.

In a predominantly latino school...

so,, most of them can't write either.. they can type with their thumbs at 99 words a minute...

This is how we can descend into a new Dark Age. In our modern world, where all information is available at the touch of a button, children cannot do basic arithmatic in their heads, cannot tie their shoes, cannot write (they print), and cannot even tell time.
