I have a two part question. The first question addresses my concerns pertaining to the independent test results from labs around the world which aren't owned or funded by Monsanto. Why is it that your in-house testing shows everything as safe while any lab not being directly funded by your corporation seems to show direct correlation between increased birth defects, cancer & whole slew of other health risks in lab animals that were fed GMO produce? My second question is, if your results are legit & everyone else is wromg, why go through the trouble of lobbying Congress in the US to put a law in place protecting Monsanto from any future legal recourse by citizens if it's ever proven eating modified produce is directly linked as the cause of their current health issue? If your on the up & up, why the shady backroom deals..? Honest people don't typically fear the truth.

This is about as shitty and unapologetic as the AMA with a White house staffer who was blatantly supporting TPP and trying to create a sense of support for the bill. Saying thing like this happens all the time, this is normal business, most people support this. Disgusting, really disgusting.

Every day so far I've been reminded by a poster here on Voat exactly why it was that I left Reddit. It's rather disheartening to actually watch freedom be stripped away, all the while being surrounded by 'intellectual, forward thinkers' who unwittingly support those actions through what I can only assume is naivety.

I wouldn't call anything I've managed to have so far a discussion as, unfortunately, people are all making jokes instead of actually discussing. I still don't understand why this could be called a conspiracy when it's clearly something public, open, and even admitted by design (of what AMA is). Perhaps you can explain that for me?

Because I am asking you questions to better understand your reasoning? I simply have no idea what you are on about. If you have doubts about my asking questions of things I know not, check my comment history, I do it frequently. Perhaps the most frequent thing I receive in return is the doubt I'm genuine for asking people to clarify their position.

The people who make AMA should be willing to answer anything, not be sensitive and expect us to pander to them.

If you notice, this is an entire thread basically pleading to the entire community not to 'mess it up' and in fact they are literally stating that those who aren't 'civil' "will find their comments removed, and if warranted, their accounts banned" so you should ask yourself why this much moderation would be necessary for someone who should be willing to answer question?

They are not actually willing to answer questions, they just want to improve their image. And this is why, as the other voater said, that the guests are going to be under the supervision of their PR. As you know, doing an AMA just for marketing purposes and to improve your image is classic astroturfing. Consideration of this astroturfing, how they aren't being truthful of how there obviously will be PR involved, and how the mods have an entire separate thread making a plea just for them really reveals the conspiracy.

Yet another great point raised. I haven't considered it particularly as I've never actually participated in the AMA community. This is the sort of discussion I was hoping to find, instead of the jokes or mockery.

Do you think there'd be any way, for Voats version of an AMA system, to contradict this?
