Well, it is happening here. The shills are down-voting as much as possible. (look at the two new self posts in regards to shills and down votes.) Ultimately, Reddit will be kept around as a diversionary tactic, (just like a 3rd political party) and they will attempt to control here as well.

Every social network has its day, every social network has its death. It's all cyclical.

Reddit has become nothing more than a shilling repost haven. Was pretty easy to notice after spending a bit of time there. Good riddance.

I hope not. It's best to keep all the astroturfers and shills in one place so we can keep an eye on them.

Reddit could continue for some time, the shills locked in an endless battle with paid informants, arguing the finer points of sponsored links.

BTW, whatever happened to digg?

No I just think it will become an even bigger echo chamber than it already has. It'll start here too after while and we'll move again. It's the way of life.

The tower known as Reddit won't fall anytime soon. However the bricks are falling 1 by 1. And eventually that tower will not be able to stand. Voat dropped the ball when fatpeoplehate got banned. If they were ready they could probably had more people converted but they weren't.

What is to stop it from happening here? Nothing but you and I. If we make it clear we won't stand for it then it won't. But if it does? We move again to another clone. We the user decide where we go. They can't force us to stay.

The cycle continues, as it always will.
