Wing to fuselage is very strong point, thick metal. Holds many times the weight of the plane. Should be a wider hole.

hey just wanted to let u know i threw up last night. also the average iq is always going to be 100. bc thats how its determined. 100 is the average for your age

coincidencesmyass

I'll never understand how they got away with this. Never.

Apathy

Notice there's no wing damage on the sides. Every simulation I've ever seen of the pentagon getting hit, they always showed the wings tearing through the building, which is what "caused" it to collapse.

SpottyMatt

Airplanes need to be lightweight, because they have to fly.

Important buildings are often built with strong walls, because they're important.

While not a perfect analog ( smaller jet, thicker wall), look what happens when an F4 flies into a mock up of a nuclear power plant's wall at ~500mph at ground level .

The plane, being as lightweight and hollow as possible to be better at flying, completely and totally loses to the wall. The hole is absolutely not the size of a plane.

blackguard19

Look at how low it is to the ground. Totally unfathomable that any pilot, especially one who has never flown a commercial airliner before, could achieve that trajectory. And remember there wasn't even any debris on the lawn right after the crash.

Sullysq

And it didn't go through just one wall. It went clear through to the courtyard. I forget how many walls but at least 4 and all of which were exceptionally thick and reinforced concrete.

blackguard19

Yeah it's preposterous. I would love to see some billionaire buy a passenger airliner and ram it into a concrete and steel building just to see what really happens. Spoiler alert, I think the concrete and steel building would win..

Turnip_Time

Do you guys notice that the Pentagon attack gets brought up far less often than WTC7? And the subsequent Anthrax attacks don't get brought up at all.

8_billion_eaters

The most unfortunate part of the pentagon attack is that the darn airplane destroyed the computer system that had all the information on the missing $5,000,000,000,000.00 (five trillion dollars) that "government officials" were all set to release to the public.

What a darned shame. Now we'll never know where that money went. Oh, well.

ISlooshyYou

That fire was hot enough to melt the computers and even the steel plane itself, but luckily they were able to find the paper passports of the hijackers on the plane.

Tancred

Not so surprising that Hillary thought she could get away with a few thousand emails.

im drunk and i just want the world to be a good place.i do not know why this is such an unreasonable thing to ask for
