Some interesting facts in the article though. Transgendered surgical patients suffer 20 times higher rates of suicide than non-transgendered people. Also that most children will spontaneously change their mind about their gender and lose those feelings 70-80% of the time.

I have my doubts about how natural this recent transgender explosion is. I don't remember any kid at my school that wanted to be the other sex. I have asked a lot of my adult students and the same can be said for them.

I think in recent times there has been a lot of suggestion and the promotion of the idea you can be whatever you wish to be. For children this can be a dangerous mantra if not fully explained/guided/understood.

I think we really need to look at hormone levels in drinking water. There are many studies that suggest high levels of oestrogen in the water system which comes from birth control pills and which is recycled at water treatment plants into drinking water. There is evidence that genital changes have been detected in fish and other water-dwelling organisms.
